PAPA ROACH Frontman Recalls Rock And Roll Christmas

Launch Radio Networks reports: PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix is looking forward to spending the Christmas holidays at home and putting plenty of gifts under the tree for his children. While Shaddix is content with not opening any presents himself, he did tell Launch about the best gift he received as a kid: "I was in junior high, seventh grade, my parents got me my first, like, kick-ass stereo system for my room, and I was just like pumping GUNS N' ROSES, like, nonstop like a madman. That was kind of the season that turned me into a true rocker, was after my parents bought me that big boombox for my bedroom. They probably regretted it afterwards 'cause I blasted that thing all the time."

PAPA ROACH began doing pre-production for its next album at a house in Hollywood last month. Recording is scheduled to begin in February. The album is tentatively scheduled for release in the summer of 2006.

The new CD will follow up 2004's "Getting Away With Murder", which has sold over one million copies since its release.

PAPA ROACH recently issued its first DVD, called "Live and Murderous in Chicago".
